The history of CBMC in undertaking the foreign
economic assistance projects entrusted by the Chinese
government goes back in time to 1956, from then on, CBMC undertook more than 60 econo-technical aid
projects provided by the Chinese government to more than
30 countries. Throughout the whole course of implementing
the projects, CBMC seriously observed and carried
out the 8 Principles for Foreign Assistance formulated
by the Chinese government, completed in satisfactory manner
the tasks commissioned by the government. The completion
and putting-into operation of these projects not only
give full scope to economic and social development of
the countries that accepted the assistance, but also made
contributions in deepening the friendship between the
Chinese people and the peoples of the host countries and
won compliments from the local governments and peoples.
